Over 420 miles.
One thermometer read 102ºF
Traffic through Connecticut and New York, but clear after that.
For $19, we upgraded our stay at this campground to a cabin, with air conditioning. Very worth it!

Summer of 2014:
Colton and Mitch are traveling 14,000 miles from the Boston to California and back again. They will be traveling this route on their motorcycles. Their goal is to learn as much as they can about this amazing country and the people who live here.
Summer of 2015:
Colton will participate in the World Challenge Exploration Program. World Challenge offers young people the chance to explore the world and experience different cultures, developing valuable life skills. He and 12 other students will be guided into designing their own backpacking expedition to explore Costa Rica and Nicaragua. They will volunteer in a developing community and trek through challenging terrain. Colton and the other students will definitely return with a different perspective on life.
Colton is currently fundraising to finance the World Challenge Expedition and to contribute to the community service project in which the team will participate.
If you are moved by Colton’s story and aspirations, we invite you to follow this blog to keep up on his travels. We also invite you to consider making a contribution to his World Challenge Expedition 2015.
With deepest gratitude for the opportunities ahead.
